It's Now Broken In and Ready to Use!

Our new stove was delivered yesterday... Yippee! I will take a picture once we do a little bit of "cosmetic work" on the kitchen wall behind it. We had a double oven range... and they left a real decorating nightmare behind it!

Anyway... DH had a night call last night, so we didn't even use the stove. We turned in, exhausted... and then I was back up with food poisoning... eeewwww! I was pretty sick, and was up and down quite a bit. I did manage to help get DH's lunch done this morning... but still felt bad. I spent most of the day in bed.

I got up around 1:30 and showered... and went to the flower shop around 2ish. I was only there for a little while... came home and got the dog so he could visit... and while there... turned several shades of green... and had to come back home to rest as I thought I would die right there.

Anyway... DH came home right after that... and he laid me out on the couch and told me not to move. He got cleaned up and then got me into bed. He later made some soup and grilled cheese. It was pretty yummy... and I could actually get it down. He does such an amazing job of taking care of us... me and the dog!

After I rested a little bit more... I am beginning to feel like me again. I was able to get all the dishes done and clean a little bit and get DH's lunch made for tomorrow. I won't need to even get up because it's all ready for him. Poor DH... he's worked so much this week... and tonight he even spent a good 3 hours on the phone and online, doing emails and follow up work. It's paying off for him... the client is so happy with the details and quality of work and quick response time, they have decided to use his company solely inspite of having other vendors who are cheaper. They know that they are getting quality work and reasonable explanations for time and materials. It means that he will be able to do most of his work locally now instead of having to drive all the way to Philly. (Yippee!)

I am hoping that tomorrow I will feel even better, and that I will able to go shopping for some hanging flower baskets. I have heard that if you don't get to one certain nursery soon enough, that there will be nothing left! I am so looking forward to spring! (Even tho there is a rumor that we could have snow flurries tonight.) If I do find a hanging basket... it will be fine on the porch or down in the garage for a bit!

Thanks for reading... be blessed!
